• Caterham Super 7, 1978, 1558 Lotus Twin Cam Factory Build, Registration Number VUL 541S.
• Very Rare car in restored outstanding condition.
• Brief History – It was an inspired decision by the directors of Caterham Cars Graham Nearn & David Wakefield to reintroduce the Lotus 7 Series 3 Twin Cam SS cars back into production after Lotus decided to finish producing the Lotus 7 Series 3 and Lotus 7 Series 4.
• These cars are highly desirable and collectible as Lotus would only produce somewhere between 12 and 14 cars.  Caterham, at the time secured the rights to produce the Lotus 7 in their own guise.
• The majority of Twin Cams were exported with only and handful available for the UK market.
• This vehicle has been subject of a complete restoration to original Factory specification.
• Chassis returned to Arch Motors for realignment with new aluminium panelling and repaint in original black.
• Wherever possible on the restoration, all original parts have been retained and refurbished and only new correct period parts have been used where necessary. Th cars main components, chassis, engine, gearbox, instruments, alloy wheels and running gear all from the factory
• Vincent Haydon of VH Cars has been instrumental in undertaking the overview of the restoration and some of the work. He is available to discuss the history, specification and works undertaken on this Caterham
